Vehicle inspection

PM5000A/B gamma, neutron and gamma-neutron radiation monitors for the control of cars and trucks are used in conjunction with a video surveillance system and an automated operator's station, which allows for immediate reaction and allows to document events detecting sources of ionizing radiation.

Monitors can be installed:

• at border crossing points and customs control points, to counteract the unauthorized movement of nuclear and radioactive materials;
• on facilities that use or produce radioactive materials;
• in waste and rubbish disposal companies;
• in plants using secondary raw materials in the production process;
• in wood processing plants, etc.

PM5000A are built using a universal gamma and neutron detection block. Depending on the customer's needs, the monitors can work on one or both sides. They can have different height of the control zone and can be used to detect gamma, neutron or both. They can be mounted on bases placed directly on the ground or suspended on special posts or walls. The monitors are designed to work in harsh climatic conditions.
